Jakarta (ANTARA) – Vice President of Samsung Digital Health Team Hon Sir in a discussion event at Mobile World Congress 2024 confirms that the Galaxy Ring will not be compatible with devices based on the iOS system.
Thus, the smart ring which is equipped with a body health monitoring feature will not be able to be connected to products made by its competitor, Apple.
As quoted by GSM Arena, Hon Pak stated that Samsung is confident in its products and that its devices are no less than Apple devices.
He also said that Samsung is working to integrate the Galaxy Ring with other Android devices, not just Samsung smartphones.
The Galaxy Ring is designed to have sensors that track health indicators such as heart rate, sleep patterns and breathing patterns.
The device will come in various sizes, the smallest using a 14 mAh battery and the largest using a 21.5 mAh battery.
