Vicenzaoro Trade Show Sees International Visitor Growth
Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) organized the Vicenzaoro September 2026 trade show.

The Vicenzaoro September 2026 trade show has closed with a 4% increase in total visitor numbers compared to the previous year, and a 9% rise in international attendance. Since September ’24, attendance figures from abroad have risen steadily, and now, boosted by T.Gold, they are up by 12% despite an increasingly complex and uncertain international context.

The event, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), saw the largest numbers of international visitors come from the United Kingdom, Germany, China, India, and Romania. These were followed by Switzerland, Spain, Denmark, Colombia, and Belgium, with notable increases from South Korea, Singapore, Kuwait, South Africa, Finland, Norway, Indonesia, Cyprus, and Saudi Arabia.

The show also attracted visitors from 136 countries, with a 4% increase compared to last September, and a 9% rise in both European and non-European attendance. Non-European countries rose to 91, with a slight 2% increase in visitors from the United States.

International Growth and Strategic Partnerships

Matteo Farsura, head of IEG’s Jewellery & Fashion division, commented that this growth confirms the work carried out during the transitional editions when construction of the new Hall 2 was underway. He emphasized the collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Trade Agency as key in driving these results.

The buyer incoming program, organized with MAECI and the Italian Trade Agency, brought 700 international buyers to Vicenza, alongside 210 Italian buyers. This record total of 910 trade visitors was achieved through the establishment of around 70 Italian Trade Agency offices worldwide, under the leadership of President Matteo Zoppas.

The event’s international standing was further confirmed by the decision of CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, to hold its centenary congress in Vicenza, with over 600 delegates in attendance. The congress, led by president Gaetano Cavalieri, included key figures from international luxury groups, mining operators, and leading global retailers, reaffirming Vicenzaoro’s role as a central platform for industry dialogue.

A Full Supply Chain Platform

With the opening of the new Hall 2, Vicenzaoro now offers a layout tailored to contemporary business needs, amassing the entire supply chain under one roof. This redesign, part of IEG’s development plan, has been instrumental in boosting business, networking, and training opportunities.

The show features 1,300 exhibiting brands, from T.Gold’s technologies to the finished product, strengthening its role as an international business platform.

Lastly, the success of VO Vintage, now at its 9th edition, with 53 selected exhibitors specialising in vintage and modern jewellery and watches, has cemented its status as a leading event. It extends the Vicenzaoro experience to the general public with a high-quality selection of items and a programme of events designed to increase the culture of watchmaking through expert speakers.

The show’s strategic partners include MAECI, the Italian Trade Agency, and international organizations such as CIBJO. National partners like CNA Orafi, Club degli Orafi Italia, Confimi Industria Gold and Silver Category, Assogemme, Assocoral, and AFEMO provide valuable support.

IEG’s Jewellery Agenda continues with upcoming events in Dubai, Valenza, Arezzo, and the return of Vicenzaoro and T.Gold in January 2027.

Strategic Partnerships and International Collaboration

Vicenzaoro’s success is attributed to its strategic partnerships with MAECI and the Italian Trade Agency, which have been instrumental in attracting buyers from key markets. These collaborations ensure a focus on both quantity and quality, with a thorough understanding of exhibiting companies and their target markets, as highlighted by Matteo Farsura.

Upcoming Events and Future Prospects

IEG’s Jewellery Agenda continues with several upcoming events, including the Jewellery, Gems and Technology (JGTD) show in Dubai from October 27-29, 2026.

In Italy, the jewelry industry will gather for the Valenza Gem Forum on October 22, 2026, and the Italian Jewellery Summit in Arezzo on December 3, 2026.

Vicenzaoro and T.Gold will return from January 15-19, 2027, with VO Vintage taking place from January 15-18, 2027. These events will offer a unique opportunity for vintage and modern jewelry enthusiasts to explore high-quality selections and participate in educational programs, further solidifying Vicenzaoro’s position as a leading international platform for the jewelry industry.
